1. Hey bloggers! What is with the spoilers lately?! If you are going to post about, say, Project Runway, and not announce that you're SPOILING it, can you at least not post the winner in the first line of your post? Some of us use this little thing called a DVR, and some of us are
2. Is it just me or are there some days where you go to work, come home, and cannot believe that you just made so little for all the crap you went through? And then there are other days where you come home and can't believe you actually got paid for sitting at work and doing nothing? Today is the latter for me, and I'm not going to pretend that I mind.
3. We met with a kitchen planner at Home Depot last night to pick out cabinets and countertops. (Do you like how I saved this for #3 to at least pretend like my life [and blog] is not totally consumed by home renovating?) You guys, there are WAY too many choices. I think our designer guy knew he was in for it with us early on. We started with the sink cabinet, and he asked us if we wanted one of those little fold down shelves on the front for sponges and whatnot. We looked at each other. We looked at him. We ummed; we ahhed; we had no idea. He started making the decisions for us from then on out and it went a lot smoother. (By the way, do I want one of those sponge drawer things?) We were there for two hours and we're still not done.
4. I think I have a sickness called Buying Too Much Stuff Online. My drug of choice is Etsy. This is not helped by having days at work where I have nothing to do. I really need to be stopped.
4a. But isn't this cute?

I hope you're all having a can't-believe-I'm-getting-paid-for-this kind of day.
Happy weekend!

A million times yes to point 1! I often don't watch things for weeks -- write about them all you want, but don't live tweet without warning, and tell me if you're going to spoil it!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love that bag! I, too, have developed an unfortunate online shopping habit, which has only grown worse in a long-distance marriage now that my husband isn't around to see the boxes pile up. Oops!
I have the same sickness and Gilt, Rue La La, and One Kings Lane DO NOT HELP!
ReplyDelete"But look how cheap it is!" <-- I say that a lot :-/

ReplyDeleteI can't seem to plan out my days well at all.
Please don't tempt me to go spending money on Etsy. please!

Cannot. stop. shopping. on. etsy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for fueling my habit :-) Oh, and I love the house before/during pictures - can't wait to see the afters!!
You want a sponge thingy! I had one on King George Street and it was awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great bag. I love the yoke and pleats! I hope you bought it.
ReplyDelete@bacon- taking your sponge thingy advice to heart- thank you!
ReplyDelete@Julia Remix- it's on its way to me ;)
My aunt had the sponge drawer-thingy in her bathroom and I never liked it. Maybe if you know that it doesn't pull out in the same way a regular drawer it's different but I always had issues with that thing.
