You guys, I am so in love with my new gray kitchen. If I had known that a can of gray paint would make such a difference I would have done it months ago. It makes the white cabinets and trim POP.
In progress (when are we not)....
I'm hoping to order the tile that we picked out in time to get it for this weekend, but I'm a little shocked at the price of the accessory trim that goes with it so I'm waiting to hear back from the company. We picked a basic white gloss subway tile from The Tile Shop.
I considered glass tile but that stuff is crazy expensive. This tile is pretty reasonable at $5.99/square foot. We need 26 bullnose edge pieces though to go around a corner, and those tiles are $5.99 A PIECE. I did some math (fancy I know) and figured out that that means they are $47.94 per square foot. Are you kidding me? Does anyone know if that is normal? The glass subway tile is looking like a bargain compared to that.
Gray thing #2 that I adore?

And stayed curled up there all night.
So much for the clean laundry.
