I can't believe we're here at the famous 35 weeks down/35 days to go mark. And look how far we've come:
Thank you for all of your tips on the cankle situation. Drinking a ton of water seems to help a bit, as does yoga. (Water and yoga, my cure for pregnancy everything.) My yoga teacher said to do hip circles and ankle circles before elevating my feet and sure enough, it's a lot more effective that way.
We had maternity photos taken on Sunday and
I can't wait to get the pictures back... eeeeeeeee!!! I literally JUST got an email with them! Will share soon! We almost finished the nursery in time for the pictures, and she took some in there as well that I'm excited to share. Thank you for all the mobile suggestions/votes! Hubs is partial to one of them and I might just let him choose because I like them all :)
Last night we sat down and purchased a ton of stuff from Amazon with gift cards we had received at showers. So exciting to sit back and watch boxes arrive on the front step loaded with more baby goodies. I can't wait to get our cloth diapers especially and get them all ready to go. (Excited about diapers, yes it has come to this.)
Weight. I've promised to keep it real, although I've noticed that other preggos that are venturing into similar weight gain categories are no longer reporting their numbers. To each their own, but if you
jerks lucky ones still in the teens of weight gain in the third trimester are the only ones reporting, then isn't that going to make it seem a little skewed out there? There, I just made myself feel better. I am THIRTY POUNDS UP. YES THIRTY. Officially. I told my husband to stop his jogging, because I'm getting dangerously close to his weight and that my friends, is NOT good for self esteem. Also I made him cupcakes last night and he ate two. But then I ate two... crap.
I think we'll try to get the car seat installed this weekend, and I'm going to finally wash all the baby clothes that I've been saying I'm going to wash for weeks. When am I supposed to pack our hospital bags? So much of it is stuff that we use everyday so I'm hesitant to pack it up. One of my friends was just reminding me that her daughter was born at 36 weeks and 2 days, and it made me realize... we're not ready yet! Stay put baby!
*Edited to add: cannot do math. Have not gained 30. Have gained 34. And this was so not supposed to be a post about weight.
